About Us

We are a small homestead at nearly 7000 ft in the central New Mexico mountains. We love the high desert, the smell of piñion warming in the sunshine, or sage after a summer downpour.  We struggle to collect rainwater from every shed roof to supplement our 12" inches of  rain per year, and to grow tomatoes to ripeness despite cool summer nights and a short growing season.  Our LGD (livestock guardian) dogs have a flock of chickens, guinea hens and ducks to guard, but we hope to introduce them to sheep, goats and alpacas in the next year.
